About the ACL Study Group

The ACL Study Group was formulated in 1978 by a small group of orthopedic surgeons with a common interest in the anterior cruciate ligament. Today, there are over 170 members from 27 countries. The group meets every 2 years to exchange information in an intimate and collegial atmosphere.

Mission Statement

The mission of the ACL Study Group is to advance the art and science of knee soft tissue surgery, rehabilitation, and injury prevention through the exchange of scientific information and debate. The ACL Study Group is committed to scientific integrity, free of financial or personal conflict of interest.
