Welcome from the President & Program Chair

We are thrilled to invite you to the upcoming 2026 ACL Study Group meeting in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil which will be held at the Wish Foz do Iguaçu Resort. The Biennial Meeting will take place February 1-5, 2026. There will also be an optional pre-meeting excursion held January 30 to February 1, 2026 at the Fairmont Copacabana in Rio de Janiero.

The ACL Study Group was first organized in 1988 by a small group of orthopedic surgeons with a common interest. The first meeting was held at West Point, U.S.A. The meeting has evolved exponentially under the leadership of Drs. John Bergfeld and Christopher Kaeding. We all enjoy the collegiality and camaraderie that this large international group affords every two years, defined by informal and spirited debate and open exchange of ideas.

We are proud to say that the ACL Study Group is the premier international ACL meeting, providing a unique opportunity to share, discuss and learn the latest advancements in research, surgery, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. Thank you all for making this exchange of scientific information and debate possible.
