Zico (Arthur Antunes Coimbra) - often hailed as Brazil’s greatest player after Pelé—is a Flamengo legend, a World Cup icon (1978, 1982, 1986), and one of football’s most gifted playmakers and free-kick artists. A triple South American Footballer of the Year and World Soccer Player of the Year (1983), he lifted Flamengo to the 1981 Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental Cup, starred at Udinese, and later helped launch modern Japanese football with Kashima Antlers and as Japan’s national coach, winning the 2004 Asian Cup. A global ambassador for the game, Zico embodies creativity, leadership, and sporting excellence.
