International Center for Orthopaedics Heidelberg GERMANY Professor Dr. med. Rainer Siebold trained at the Ruprecht-Karls University in Heidelberg/Germany. He is Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon performing mainly knee reconstructive surgery and knee replacement. He is an expert in ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair & transplantation as well as arthroscopic matrix-induced ACI´s for cartilage regeneration. Prof. Siebold worked in Manhatten and Boston/USA, performed Fellowships in Melbourne/Australia and Pittsburgh/USA and was AOSSM/ESSKA Traveling Fellow from the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy. He is Honorary Member of the AOSSM and member of several orthopaedic societies: e.g. ESSKA, ISAKOS, Australian Knee Society, Magellan Society, ACL Study Group. Prof. Siebold lectures at the University of Heidelberg/Germany, his research background is mainly on ACL and cartilage transplantation.
