Atsuo Nakamae, MD, PhD

Atsuo Nakamae is an associate professor of the department of Orthopaedic surgery at Hiroshima University, Japan. The first time he attended the ACL Study Group Meeting was in 2008. Atsuo has been doing several clinical and experimental studies on ACL reconstruction in the university hospital. He is also interested in ACL injury mechanisms and prevention, because he spent one year in Oslo and studied how to evaluate videos of ACL injuries to analyze ACL injury mechanisms. Atsuo has written 15 English research papers on ACL as the first author so far. Atsuo was one of the members of the APKASS-ESSKA Travelling Fellowship in 2014.
