Professor Drogset is also an Orthopedic Surgeon at the Section for Arthroscopy and Sports Traumatology at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Trondheim University Hospital in Norway. He graduated from medical school at the University of Oslo in 1985 after premedicine in Bochum, Germany. He is a specialist in General Surgery from 1995, Sports Medicine from 1995 and Orthopedic Surgery from 1998.
