He is a Knee surgeon with special interest in Knee dislocations with multiligament injuries. His research has mainly been on ACL and meniscus injuries and some collaboration with preclinical cartilage research and fracture research. He is an associate Professor of Orthopaedic surgery at Karolinska Institutet, the register chair of the National Swedish Knee Ligament Register and a Member of the editorial board of the American journal of sport medicin.
