Hospital for Special Surgery New York, NY UNITED STATES Dr. Danyal Nawabi is an Orthopedic Surgeon currently practicing at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York, USA. He is also an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Nawabi received his medical degree from the University of Oxford in England. He completed his orthopaedic residency on the Percival Pott Program in London where he was the recipient of the Sir Walter Mercer Gold Medal. He then completed three years of advanced fellowship training at HSS where he was a double recipient of the Philip D. Wilson Award for Excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery. He currently serves as team physician to the New York Red Bulls MLS franchise and medical director of the New York Cosmos Soccer Club. He is also an instructor on the FIFA Medical Network.
