University Hospitals Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University Cleveland, Ohio UNITED STATES I currently serve as Chair, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University. My practice is focused on sports medicine with specialization in knee ligament reconstruction. I am the Head Team Physician for the NFL Cleveland Browns for the past 12 years in addition to serving as Medical Director of the Cleveland Ballet. I recently completed a 2 year term as President of the NFL Physicians Society. My research interests include stem cells with an active FDA approved clinical trial utilizing autologous expanded MSCs for early OA and ligament repair. Additional research includes development of wearable technology in sports medicine and development of collagen scaffolds in ACL repair/reconstruction. Residency and Fellowship training was performed in sports medicine the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York where I trained under Drs. Russell Warren and Scott Rodeo 2004-2010. I did a brief traveling elective to Bern and Zurich Switzerland during my final year of residency. I have served as an Ohio Delegate for AOSSM. Additional Memberships include Herodicus, Twentieth Century Orthopaedics Association, AAOS, American Orthopaedic Association and NFL Physicians Society
