Oslo University Hospital Aker Oslo NORWAY Dr Andreas Persson is currently working as an orthopedic surgeon at the Department of Arthroscopy and Sports medicine, Oslo University Hospital Aker. His main focus is complex knee surgery and sports medicine, serving as the team physician for the Norwegian national Snowboard and Freeski team since 2017. Dr Persson graduated from the University of Bergen and has done his post-graduate training in Bergen and Oslo. He defended his PhD thesis “Risk factors for revision after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction” in 2019, and is mainly involved in ACL register research. He is currently participating in the worlds first register-based RCTs in the Norwegian Knee Ligament register where he is also an advisor to the steering committee.
