I am currently working at the Department for Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Kepler University Hospital in Linz, Austria (Prof. Dr. Tobias Gotterbarm). I started working as a resident at the Department for Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the Technical University of Munich, Germany (Prof. Andreas B. Imhoff) in 2019. In 2020, I did a knee research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, USA (Prof. Freddie Fu, Prof. Volker Musahl). As a research fellow, I focused on the biomechanical effect of the posterior tibial slope on knee kinematics and cruciate ligament and meniscal forces. My primary research interest is reconstructive knee surgery, where I have published several peer reviewed publications on ACL, PCL, meniscal injuries, osteotomies around the knee, and patellofemoral instability. I am a member of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), and other affiliated societies such as the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), the Society for Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery (AGA), and the German Knee Society (DKG).
